USG Neck Report | Lymph nodes swelling
Are these Lymphnodes sizes normal? There is a lump / swelling - Soft and pain on touching at back side of Left Ear and At right ear below the ear ring - No pain no itching (Hardly patient feel it on right side) It's be close to a month - No growth ane no other symptoms FINDINGS: NODES: small lymph nodes with mildly thickened cortex and no obvious colour uptake noted in left level II and right retroauricular region (at site of apparent swelling), measuring 2x5mm and 6x2mm respectively . Few other insignficant lymph node noted in right level II and IV measuring 3x8mm in level IV and 4x7mm in left level II. SUBMADIBULAR GLANDS: Normal. RIGHT LOBE THYROID: Normal. LEFT LOBE THYROID: Normal. ISTHMUS: Normal. CAROTID ARTERIES: Normal. JUGULAR VEINS: Normal. MUSCLES:Normal. IMPRESSION: US- NECK Small discrete lymph nodes with mildly thickened cortex in left level II and right retroauricular region (at site of apparent swelling) – probably inflammatory / infective etiology.
