Usg fatty liver grade1
Hi I am diagnosed with fatty liver grade 1 with enlarged liver 17.23 cms, Lft says total protein 7.5, albumin 4, globulin 3.5, bilirubin total 0.67, bilirubin direct 0.35, alt 37, ast 34, AP 105......I have stopped alcohol from last 50 days , reduced weight 9 kgs, on strict diet of raw vegetable juice and no fat food, pls suggest is it reversible?

Once you stop alcohol it takes approx 1 year to show some effect. Fatty liver can be reversed if causing agent is stopped . But if there is a very significant history of alcohol consumption such as 15-20 years then its debatable. Having said that ,its always good to be a teetotaller. Congratulations on quitting the alcohol.
