Uses of regestrone
My sister who had undergone a miscarriage followed by the procedure of DNC last week istaking regestrone since 9 days. Now, she is confused whether this tablet will work as a contraceptive or it? Please clarify

1st of all after miscarriage n D n C there should be abstinence for 4 weeks. And Regestrrone is not a contraceptive agent

I'm sorry for your sister s  hard times.Regesterone  is prescribed sometimes to help the patient have a withdrawal  bleed as a period.it would not be effective as a contraceptive now. There are other options that she could try out for contraception.

No regestrone is not a contraceptive...after she stops it on day 10...she will get menses within 1week... connect with me for further advice and on options of contraception
