Hi.... I want to know the uses of Ranol 20 tablet as I have a depression and anxiety disorder. And it's side-effects.

Ranol 20 by itself is not the drug of choice for Anxiety/Depression. It is at best an adjuvant drug in both the disorders. It is basically antihypertensive medication which is used in prophylaxis of migraine as well. Improves anxiety as well

Propranolol, primarily a antihypertensive medicine, will help relieve anxiety in cases of depression. On its own, it doesn't have anti-depressant activity.
Psychiatrist, depending on the symptoms, might start this with other medicines for anxiety depression for initial phase of treatment. Later on, depending upon the case , it is decided how long it is to be taken?

Tablet Ranol (propranolol) use for Hypertension and also for anxiety.
Its side effects are lower blood pressure, slow heart rate, sometimes worsening of asthma or breathlessness, numbness of extremities, nausea vomiting etc.
