My wife taking Cyclotin 20 tablets from 10 days as doctor prescribed for her depression, feeling low, crying,etc. She can't sleep at night or the whole day, she only sleep 1- 2 hour at night. Why this happening.

1. Cyclotin 20 mg contains Fluoxitine that is an Antidepressant & should be taken 30 minutes after breakfast daily.
Dose is to be Titrated up/down as per improvement reported after 2 weeks.
2. Need to Add Hypnotic in Night for good sleep for few days after Consultation with Psychiatrist

Hello,
Lack of sleep is a major symptom of depression. Almost 50-60% people with depression have decreased sleep during depression. Make sure you are taking cyclothin 20 during morning after food and not at night. Also consult for adding of sedatives or sleep inducing antidepressants for few days as it will help reduce distress caused due to lack of sleep.
