Used a steroid cream on face for a year.

Hello doctors, i have used betnovate-s cream on my face for a year and later came to know that it contains steroids and stopped using that. Now my face looks too darker than my body. Please someone suggest me that what are things that i need to do and what kind of specialist that i need to consult.
