Hey, There are many possible reasons for sleeplessness, including your sleeping habits, lifestyle choices, and medical conditions. Some causes are minor and may improve with self-care, while others may require you to seek medical attention. Causes of sleeplessness may include aging, too much stimulation before bedtime (such as watching television, playing video games, or exercising), consuming too much caffeine, noise disturbances, an uncomfortable bedroom, or a feeling of excitement. Sleeping too much during the day, lack of exposure to sunlight, frequent urination, physical pain, jet lag, and some prescription medications may also lead to difficulty sleeping. You should see a doctor as well as a psychologist if your sleeping difficulties are ongoing and affecting your quality of life. They’ll attempt to find the underlying cause of your sleeplessness by conducting a physical examination and asking questions about your sleep patterns. If left untreated, chronic sleep problems can greatly affect your qualify of life.

Hi... Please do not use any sleeping pill without psychiatric consultation. These pills that are known to induce sleep are not meant for this specific purpose. It is more like a positive side effect. They work by influencing the neural transmission to establish the neuro-chemical balance which is imbalanced by a condition (depression, anxiety, bipolar, etc.) Monitor your screen time and follow proper routine — sleep, meals, exercise, breathing/meditation. Seek Counselling/Psychotherapy for your concerns (feeling depressed, lonely at night)
