Usage of vasu zeal syrup
Last time when I visited one ayurvedic doctor he gave me Vasu zeal syrup for cough and it was effective, Currently I'm pregnant and is it safe to have it for the cough which I'm suffering right now.

In pregnancy I will never suggest medicines. Ayurveda or allopathy unless absolutely necessary
But if the cough is severe you can take 5ml of the syrup twice a day. Vasu zeal syrup is safe during pregnancy.
Do steam inhalation and gargling thrice a day. This will reduce your dependency on medication
Drink only warm water
