Urine infection
My 5 months old daughter has got urine infection(from the urine sample report Pus Cells has 12-14 hpf and epithelial cells has 6-8 cells) which is over the normal. So our pediatrician suggested antibiotics taxim-o 50mg for next 10days. After taking that she is having loose motion. Any suggestions to avoid loose motion?

Both antibiotic and urine infection can produce loose motion. If urine infection is suspected, required to send a catheter sample of urine for culture delivered to a reliable lab within an hour.  If culture proves infection, then the correct antibiotic should be given and the low grade loose motion tolerated. If infection is proven by culture,  the paediatrician will also advise further tests to see if there is any underlying condition that makes it likely to come again and cause damage to the kidneys.
Next Steps
Report it to the paediatrician
