My son is one year old.as he passes stool six times I gave him nor metrogyl.can I do his urine culture test after that?after 12-15 hours of that.

He require evaluation and then medicine s should be started. Consult a paediatrician At the most he can take oral rehydration solution (ORS) .commonly available electrol powder mixed with boiled water as per quantity of stool passed to avoid dehydration. Urine culture is not required as he has frequent stool rather than urinary problem
