URINARY TRACT INFECTION
My daughter is 4 years old , when she gets high fever we do a urine test , since on one occasion she got UTI . We want to know what is the pus cell range in urine which indicates she is having UTI . This time we did and it was 8 to 10. We are in confusion. Should we do MCU test or not .

Hello there. I can understand your concern. The pus cells range which you have got is 8-10 which clearly indicates a urinary tract infection. She needs to drink lots of water, drink cranberry juice, citrus fruits and lemonade. Also do a culture and sensitivity of urine done so that it will be known which antibiotic is most active on the particular organism. Kindly consult a paediatrician for further help regarding this.
