Urinary Retention
My mother age 52 has a urinary retention problem and sometimes she is unable to pee. In the past 1 year this problem arose two times and she was taken to a doctor. Doctor used a cathetar for the relief. The reports for ultrasound and urinary culture were okay showing signs of urinary retention I want to ask of such problem arise in the middle of the night or in a remote place having no cathetar facility then what to do? Can my mother use cathetar herself for the relief?

Dear Sir, Good evening.  I'm. Dr. Yogesh Kumar Sharma.  I'm a Kidney specialist and very well understood.  Kindly contact me, I'll suggest you a simple method to relieve urine even in remote areas and simply to do. I have already done this to several patients,  who are suffering from this ailment. Kindly tell me what is the diagnosis of your mother. Take care
