My mother had urinal infection recently and consulted nearby doctor,she was asked to walk with footwear inside home. Do you doctors suggest specific type of footwear usually to patients regarding health?

I don't understand how wearing a footwear inside home help your mother's urinary infection.Ideally your mother should check her urine routine and urine for culture and sensitivity ,Cbc and Blood sugar random.Sonography of abdomen later if problem not solved.Treat infection.Drink lots of fluids.
