Uric acid vs whey protein
Does high protein diet , egg whites , chicken or whey protein powder elevate the uric acid above the normal range in blood? What are the reasons for high uric acid level in blood?

Hello there. There is a mechanism for digesting proteins in the body. And the end product of it is uric acid which is to be excreted out. In humans it stops till uric acid, but in certain animals and other species uric acid is not the end step of protein digestion. So a very high protein diet can lead to elevated uric acid levels. Too much indulgence can harm you. Regards
