Uric acid level 7.3 mg/dl
Hi Sir/Madam, I had a random health check up and found that uric acid is 7.3 and serum albumin level is 5.3 mg/dl. Could you please let me know if this is alarming or should I need to meet nephrologist or any other doctor for the same.

Yes it is alarming. You have hyperuricemia which is a serious condition. hyperuricemia is a potentially harmful condition. It favors precipitation of uric acid crystals in joints and tissues, leading to complications such as gout, nephrolithiasis and chronic nephropathy. Dr Rupal (Senior Consultant Physician) Mumbai
