My father is 80 years old. For the past few days, he has been experiencing continuous itching over his upper body, especially on his face and the outer part of his nose. The discomfort has been quite severe.
He took Allegra 180 and applied Caladryl lotion, which provided some relief. Today, he again took Allegra 180 in the morning and applied Caladryl lotion around 2 PM after lunch. However, by 4 PM, the itching on his face returned, though it was less severe than before.
There is no fever or weakness, and there are no visible rashes, redness, or heat rash (ghamori) coz of extreme summer heat in our city on his upper body.
What could be the possible cause of this itching? Sharing the pic of my father.
