Upper abdominal pain
My mother had been having upper abdominal (diaphragm) pain and pain at a point on her back. She is diabetic. We did several tests - cardio, colonoscopy, endoscopy but everything is normal. We suspect it is due to gas. She has been taking medicines to reduce gas that's helped her abdominal pain but increased her backache. I need help. Can someone refer me to a doc in Kasturi Nagar?

Hello there...i understand your concern...advice her to try eating several small meals instead of three large ones whenever she can...Avoid foods that irritate her stomach, especially those that are spicy, acidic, fried or fatty... avoid coffee, tea etc... Avoid stress, consider calming activities, such as meditation, yoga etc...sleep with head raised position and have dinner at least 2 hours before sleep..take over pantaprazole 40 mg twice daily before food with above for 15 days....consult physician if symptoms persists.
