Unossified nasal bone in TIFA Scan
Dear all, My wife is 19 week pregnant, We haven't done any double Marker, triple or quadruple marker tests. At NT scan time nothing was mentioned, scan done at 13 weeks time. Now we have done TIFA scan and told us that baby has unossified nasal bone, so get the NIPT test or amniocentesis test with fish done. We opted for NIPT as it is invasive and risk involved and cost is more in amniocentesis. But heard that NIPT is only 99% accurate. So can we believe if risk is low in NIPT. And in case if risk is more is amniocentesis is required but by that pregnancy will reach at 20 or 21st week and amniocentesis will take another 4 weeks. Please suggest?
