Unknown rash - could be bug bite
My two year old daughter has recently developed some itchy rash types on her back. it seems like it could be some insect or bug bite. she keeps on asking me to itch her back as it is bothering her alot. i tried applying fucidin but nothing happened. please suggest some otc ointment or cream so that herrash and itch go away.

If it is indeed an insect bite then your daughter may need some prescription creams and syrups to relieve her itch.

You can apply calamine lotion (Venusia Soft + or Dermocalm Lotion) for such cases when there is itching. Those are available over the counter. But without knowing the severity, it is best to go in for a consultation.
Do not apply anything which can irritate the skin like Dettol.
Continue to apply Fucidin Cream also.
