Bug bite? Ingrown Hair? I don't know
My boyfriend got a small bump that looked like a pimple in his upper pubic area which we at first thought was an ingrown hair. It was extremely painful and did not stop growing. Now it's the size of the tip of my finger, bright red, and the middle of it is hollow, like its being eaten at by an infection. It looks maybe like a bug bite but we don't know what it is, and its only getting worse.

It can be a furuncle which is bacterial infection if hair roots. It is not advisable to prescribe without examining the patient.
