Unexplained weight gain
I have gained over 6 to 7 kgs in last 6 months. I am going to the gym for last two months but the weight is not coming down. I have been on nexito 5 and oleanz 5. The doctor has reduced oleanz to 2.5 after I told her about the weight gain however, the weight is not reducing still. I feel hungry at night after taking these medicines. Is there a medicine to lose weight?

Your weight gain as well as increase in appetite is likely to be due to olanzapine, you can request your psychiatrist to stop olanzapine because of the undesirable side effects, and once it is stopped you should wait and watch if the problem persists. It most likely should stop once olanzapine is stopped completely.
