  4. Underwent polypectomy. Prescribed?

Underwent polypectomy
I how undergone polyp removal 19 days ago and have been prescribed meprate 10mg twice a day from day 14 post my Ist period doe 16 days for 2 months before undergoing IVF. Why is the medicine prescribed? Since meprate prevents ovulation and may hamper pregnancy so not sure why this medicine was prescribed. I am 38 years old
