  4. Underweight. I start using these drops?

Underweight
My baby girl is 7 months old now and her weight is 6.39 kgs. My paed prescribed tonoferon drops(8 drops in the morning and in the evening) for weight gain. Am worried about her weight! She is on solid and is on breastfeed too. Will she gain proper weight and be healthy if I start using these drops?? Please suggest me

Absolutely NOT!! This is an iron supplement for iron deficiency anaemia,and is added ONLY after blood test for iron levels,and will cause harm if there's no iron deficiency! For weight gain,give 2 solid meals and just 4 milk feeds,one of which should be top formula feed.
