I have underbite teeth alignment problem. I was always afraid of braces so never thought of fixing it in my early age. But now as it is affecting my confidence I'm looking forward to correct it. Is there any chance to get it done at this age?

Age is not a problem for teeth alignment. Just find a good orthodontist who will do a detail study and plan treatment accordingly . Rather getting your teeth align has lot of oral health benefits.
Definitely yes, young lady! You are just 25! You don’t need to be afraid of braces. They are not going to harm you in any way. You will just feel the initial soreness/pressure for around 2-3 days after each wire adjustment, but you will get used to it. Donn worry! You will need to follow certain oral hygiene instructions and have a positive attitude towards your treatment. The more you are internally motivated for treatment, the faster your treatment is! In case you are worried about how you may look with the braces, there are various options in braces. There are transparent/ invisible braces available called ‘aligners’ which are removable mouth guards that fit closely over your teeth. You will be given a series of aligners which should be removed while eating and drinking. It is also possible to have braces glued to the back of your teeth (lingual braces) which are much less visible but can be more noticeable to the tongue and cause changes to speech initially. Next option would be fixed permanent braces available in tooth coloured varieties that blend in with the natural colour of your teeth. The wires used to straighten teeth can also be coated with a tooth coloured material. Lastly, If you are fine with braces being visible, you can go for metal braces as well! Thank you.
