Hello there. I am a 23 year old female, Asian. I have had this problem since I was in high school, or probably earlier. Until now I still have it. It goes like this. I have this uncontrollable urge to move my eyes, twitch my nose, and move my mouth like when you're trying to make a funny face. Also, I have the same feeling with my arms and legs. Sometimes I can fight the urge, and sometimes I can't. And I end up looking weird to people especially my family. When I do give in to that feeling, I feel relieved.. I don't really know if this is a physical problem or if it's a psychological one. Because it's just like when you feel an itch. Once you scratch it, you will feel relief. The process repeats itself over and over again. I really want for this to stop because it's embarrassing for me and also annoying.

It could be a combination of both i.e a psychological and physical problem. Do see a neurologist to address the physical angle & a good therapist to help you emotionally and mentally. It may are some time for you to controll & overcome your problem, do do be patient.
