Hello Dear, Vaat is known as Osteoarthritis in medical terms. The evidence for it can only be confirmed on the basis of X Ray. Allopathic medicines for Osteoarthritis include pain killers. However homeopathic medicine can actually reduce the pain as well strengthen the muscles. I would recommend that you consider homeopathic treatment for your mother. I will however need some detailed information about her condition after studying which I will be able to suggest the most appropriate homeopathic remedy .

Hello there. I can understand your concern. Take her to a orthopedic surgeon and let him examine her. She might be having osteoarthritis. Get a xray of the knee done. The orthopedician will suggest furtger treatment. As for now ask her to take aceclofenac 100mg twice a day. But do not postpone your visit to the orthopedician. Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain.
