Unable to stand and walk from one month
My grandfather is of 85years.He is unable to stand and walk. His kft and lft test is normal. But diabitic patient . He passes latrine and toilet on bed. His sugar at random is 150.Doctor has said he has problem of oesoarthiritis and spine degenarative problem. He has prescribed bonista s/r injection. Calcium and d3tablet. Plz suggest somethinh so that his condition could improve

Difficulty in walking at this age can be due to many reasons - 1) Brain atropy or stroke or other Brain condition. 2) Degenerative spine causing severe spinal cord compression. 3) Generalised weakness or myopathy 4) Muscle stiffness conditions or 5) joint stiffness and joint problems 6) Severe body pain The treatment depends on the condition, need to see the patient and examine to tell what is required.
