Unable to reach doctor!! Need help

Asked for Female, 34 Years

My son has running rose ,fever and cough since Thursday evening. We met doc on Friday and he gave p120 , levolin and augmentin duo. His fever broke yesterday morning and there is no temperature since morning. However he has slight cough only. Today morning the temperature was in the range of 98.7 to 99 . My doubt is should I take blood test as fever has lapsed in again
