I understand your concern about your ability to concentrate on your studies. There can be many reasons for difficulty in focusing, such as stress, anxiety, depression, lack of sleep, or even a poor diet. Here are some tips that might help you improve your concentration: 1. Create a study routine: Set aside a specific time every day for studying and stick to it. This can help train your mind to be focused and ready to learn during that time. 2. Minimise distractions: Try to create a quiet and calm environment while studying, away from things that might distract you like your cellphone, social media, or TV. 3. Take breaks: It's important to take short breaks during study sessions to avoid burnout and to help your brain recharge. During your break, try to do something active, like going for a walk or doing a quick workout. 4. Eat well: Eating a healthy diet with plenty of fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins can help improve your cognitive function and focus. 5. Get enough sleep: Sleep is essential for brain function and concentration. Aim for 7-8 hours of sleep every night to help improve your focus during the day. 6. Consider mindfulness meditation: Practicing mindfulness meditation for a few minutes each day can help improve your ability to focus and reduce stress and anxiety. Remember, everyone's brain works differently, and what works for one person may not work for another. Experiment with these tips and try to find what works best for you.

Hi How long has it been since you have noticed that you are not able to focus on studies? You are preparing for various competitive exams, and it shows you are an ambitious and determined person. It is necessary to know what is causing lack of focus. In order to determine what is causing lack of focus with a psychologist you can talk about your lifestyle, eating habits, water intake, caffeine intake, sleep pattern, and relationship with family. You are into music, workout, and gardening, and these are good hobbies to indulge in. It is important to know how much time you spend on the phone and internet. If you are spending too much time on the internet a psychologist will guide you on ways to reduce screen time. Consult a psychologist and explain about lack of focus in detail. Counselling sessions will help you.

Health Tips
If you're struggling to focus on studying, here are some tips that might help: Identify the problem: Are you feeling overwhelmed, tired, or bored? Understanding the root cause of your inability to focus can help you find a solution. Create a study plan: Make a schedule and stick to it. This will help you stay organized and focused. Find a quiet study space: Choose a place where you can concentrate without distractions. It could be a library, your room, or a quiet cafe. Remove distractions: Put away your phone, turn off notifications, and close unnecessary tabs on your computer. This will help you stay focused on the task at hand. Take breaks: It's important to take regular breaks to avoid burnout. Take a short walk, stretch or meditate to refresh your mind. Stay motivated: Keep reminding yourself why you are studying and what you want to achieve. Set goals and track your progress. Use active learning techniques: Instead of just reading or listening to lectures, try to actively engage with the material. Take notes, ask questions, and try to summarize the key points. Get enough sleep: Make sure you get enough sleep so that you can be well-rested and focused during your study sessions. Remember, everyone has different ways of learning and focusing. It's important to experiment and find what works best for you.

If this is a relatively new situation of lowered focus and energy levels that you are facing, I would suggest you to consult your family physician / a medical specialist doctor to rule out any underlying physical health conditions like hypothyroidism, vitamin deficiency etc. that could trigger symptoms of your kind. You also need to check out the quality and quantity of sleep that you are getting. Please also do some introspection to find out if you are under any kind of stress or anxiety. In any case, after your consultation with the physician, you may consult a psychologist and seek guidance on overcoming any probable mental health condition that you may be going through.
