Unable to express my emotions
Iam 24 year old, married. I was quite talkative when I was younger, now something has changed iam unable to express any emotions happy anger sad, it's like iam in a fix. I want to tell so much but words don't come out, when iam having a conversation in my mind every thing is fine but when I want to actually speak I become blank. When someone asks me suddenly anything it takes few seconds to process and reply back, it becomes very akward. I can't initiate a conversation, I feel comfortable when iam in a group, but when iam with some one alone I cannot think of anything to tell them or make a conversation. I hold up anger even when it's not necessary, it kind of builds up and bursts out at the wrong time and wrong place, for the matters that are silly. What do you think I should do to overcome this ?

Hello practo user i can understand the difficulty that you are experiencing . The first step should be understanding all the major life events which have taken place in the couple of years which could be contributing to your change in personality . It is alright if it takes you a little time to respond to the conversation and it might prove to be helpful if you start counting backwards from 10 as it can help you lower the anxiety you are facing while having a conversation with others. Yoga and deep breathing can help you tackle the anger issues . It will be beneficial if you seek professional help from a clinical psychologist for proper diagnosis and who can help you learn the coping mechanisms and give a deeper analysis to your problems . For further help and guidance you can get in touch with me through the practo app.
Next Steps
consult a clinical psychologist
Health Tips
practicing yoga and deep breathing , counting backwards and exercising regularly
