Hi there...from your description it looks like he could be suffering from facial nerve paralysis. It could be caused by various causes like infection, trauma, injury , inflammation of the facial nerve. It will need further examination to come to a diagnosis. So kindly consult a nearby general physician for further evaluation. You will also need to consult a ophthalmologist for lagophthalmous (inability to close eyelid).
