UMBILICAL HERNIA
I have been diagnosed with a small umbilical hernia. The surgeon suggested surgery, but at present there is no associated symptoms. The hernia is very small at present. What precautions should I take as I want to delay the surgery by 2-3 months due to family constraints. Please advise.

Hi, Any thing which may increase pressure on abdomen may be harmful. So avoid straining, heavy weight lifting. In case of cough, get it treated.
