Umbilical hernia
Hi Dr.. I hv pain in my umbilical region since 6 months. The pricking pain increase when I cough.. I done a scan it shows that I hv umbilical hernia.. So I m worried... Plz suggest some treatment for this... Medicine are there or surgery s required.. Plz guide me right...

Send your sonography report and picture of umblical hernia when you cough. You may require operation or you can defer operation depening upon symptoms and size.

Hi you need to undergo a laparoscopic mesh repair as this umbilical hernia is getting partially obstructed leading to pain.
