Umbelical code infection
Hi
My son is 12 days old from last two days his umbelical code outer part dried out leaving the goovy inner part. It seems not healed much it have slight blood stain and some discharge. But it have a very bad smell. Is seems normal but smell is the concern. I'm applying alcohol swab and tbact but till now no improvement. I'm afraid it is infected.

Please get a direct consultation. Umbilical discharge which is foul smelling even after t bact.. means some infection. They might advice swab culture and oral antibiotics.
