Hi Wanted to know if abdominal and TV's scan can be done during periods...for pcos ..irregular period problem... Thanks

It's not done during the menses flow, as the transvaginal probe may induce infection. Transabdo can be done. For pcos, generally scans are done after 12th day of cycle

If you have irregular periods, then can be done at random. Also ultrasound is not always required for diagnosis.
