UAE or hysterectomy
I am a diabetes patient . I have heavy bleeding for past few months and stomach pain So I made a scan which shows few fibroids and adenomyoma. My gynaecologist suggested UAE since I'm 48 and I'll will reach menopause within 1 or 2 year
I didn't hear about UAE before. Is it a safe procedure to go at this stage? Whether it has any side effects? Or should I go for hysterectomy? My uterus size(7.8*5.4*4.6) cm and few intramural fibroids largest 1.6*1.2 cm. Nabothian cyst (1.2*0.8)cm and my haemoglobin level is 11. Kindly suggest a good one or is there any other option other than the above?

You need to undergo Pap smear and endometrial biopsy
If ok opt for LNG IUS less invasive it will reduce bleeding and pain
