Typhoid symptoms
What are the general symptoms of typhoid? My friend is exhibiting head and muscle ache, vomiting sensation, weakness and loss of hunger. She was told by a local doctor that she might have typhoid. Please give some advice on that.

Hi there.. typhoid( enteric fever) is caused by salmonella bacteria.. it spreads through contact with infected water or food.. the duration of the illness is about 3-4 weeks. Symptoms include:Poor appetite, headache, Generalized weakness and pains, Fever ,Lethargy, diarrhoea, abdominal pain and discomfort.. typhoid can be diagnosed by blood culture.. symptoms of many diseases over lap so don't get stressed or worried... Treatment of typhoid is antibiotics, supportive care.
