How can we symptomaticaly differentiate between typhoid and covid. What symptoms are different in both of them

Typhoid : Rising fever ( step ladder in medical terms ) Abdominal pain Loose stools Body pain COVID : fever loss of smell and taste Cough Body pains REMEMBER COVID CAN PRESENT WITH JUST FEVER OR ANY ONE SYMPTOM ALSO . So it is difficult to differentiate with just symptoms . Tests Typhoid: widal test Covid : rt pcr Always better to do a test and confirm your diagnosis.

Covid have a mid grade of fever which may be associated with Cough, fatigueness, diarrhea, chest tightness and more respiratory symptoms. Whereas typhoid have fever which is characteristic of stepwise rise in temperature as the day pass with increased temperature during evening hours and temperature will fall during morning hours, and it is more associated with Gastro intestinal symptoms, with fatigueness , stomach ache , loss of appetite, mild cough sometimes. Usually need blood  and stool samples for confirmatory test. Do consult on this profile to get better evaluation and understanding.
