Hi,
Typhoid is an infective illness whose established route of transmission from one person to another is via feco-oral route only. That means things which are touching her faeces or anal area(most commonly his own hands) can transmit the infection from one peron to another. So the only way to prevent infection is to wash your hands with soap and water everytime after going to toilet, before meals and before entering kitchen for cooking.
Hope this clears your doubt!
