Hello, I have been recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. What diet should I follow? Can I take sugar-free stevia instead of sugar?

Life style modification is very much important in glycaemic control in diabetes individuals. Calorie intake restriction. Increasing quantity of veggies per meal. Avoid simple sugars like sugar. Small quantity frequent meals preferred. Low carb, low fat, high protein diet . Decrease intake of visible fats, oils, junk. Add salad with each meal
