Tympanoplasty.
Sir/mam On 7th of march i had gone through tympanoplasty surgery its been more than 4and half month still my hearing not getting any better. My ent said it will not come to normal but it will improve but i dont see any improvement rather my hearing much worse. I am very worried I had moderate conductive hearing loss so my doctor said it won't go back to normal but surely improve after surgery All i want to ask is how long should i wait or there is any problem occurred. Please kindly reply to my query.

It totally depends on your pathology. If you had disrupted ossicles before surgery and that couldn't be corrected due to any reason then probably the loss may remain. Have you done a CT scan before the surgery? Ant pure tone audiometry test before and after the surgery for us to compare the results?

mam as your doctor said it wont improve but there will be no more infection or further hearing loss mam... plz don’t worry it will take time to get accustomed to it..
