Two stitches inside upper lip

Asked for Female, 22 Years

I have got two stitches inside my upper lip. After 3 days I visited for its removal as asked by doctor but the doctor said it will dissolve on its own in 7-10 days. Its been complete 5 days, there isn't any improvement. Do I need to put and gel or something for early recovery.Please suggest .. something..

Don't put anything. Sutures are of two types ..resorbable and non resorbable. as the doctor says it will resorbable on its own then leave it like that only it will take some 15 days to resorb.witjin 3 days it cannot resorbable and even if u remove it ,healing is not yet completed.
