Recently i have done with ultrasound due some mild pain at right abdomen. There is no major symptoms now . One of the doctor sugested take Ursocol 300mg tablet two times daily's 60 tablets.
Report says : Cholelithiasis
Will this tablet dissolve stone in gall bladder??

The tablet can help in dissolving a cholesterol based stone when taken for a long duration, which is not clearly predictable. But it does not take away the tendency to form stones inside the Gall bladder. The risk of complications of the stone causing sudden pain, inflammation, obstructive jaundice remains to be there. The most dreaded complication is Pancreatitis.
Simpler remedy is surgical removal of Gall bladder which is done laparoscopic or Robotic way

Based on your symptoms and ultrasound report, you have symptomatic cholelithiasis. Taking ursocol will be beneficial in preventing further stone formation. But it will not dissolve the already formed stones in your gallbladder

This is only temporary & partial treatment. Stone formation continues and whenever you will stop URSOCOL, it will again cause stone formation.

Ultrasound showing cholelithiasis means gallbladder stones. Ursocol (ursodeoxycholic acid) can dissolve only small, cholesterol stones in selected patients with functioning gallbladder, and treatment may take months with variable success and recurrence risk.
If you develop pain, fever, vomiting, or jaundice, consult a surgeon, as definitive treatment for symptomatic stones is laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Regular follow up is advised for safety.
