Can any one suggest which solution is preferable? Tugain 5 or tugain 10. To reduce hair loss and hair regrowth? And which will have less side effects?

The main content of tugain is minoxidil. Tugain 5% or 10 % means minoxidil 5% or 10 %.
It is a vasodilator that is used for the activation of hair follicles with increase in their blood supply.
Their use depends on the grade of hair loss that one has and also the type of hair loss.
In case of grade three and grade four hair loss,especially male pattern hair loss or androgenetic hair loss,the minoxidil 5% and 10% is useful.
clinical studies have proved that 5% and 10% lotion is not showing much difference in efficacy.
You can apply 10% to begin with and then slowly shift to 5%.
These 10% may be associated with more of dryness in scalp due to alcohol base.
