Tuberculosis
I was diganosed with stomach t.b in sep 2019 since I am taking A.T..T medicine but even after 7 month my doctor is prescribing me ethambutol hydrochloride (combutol800) with R cinex 600 one dose each every day. Is it ok to take comebutol for more then intensive phase.

You are taking rifampicin 600mg + inh 300mg + ethambutol 800mg od. You have not taken pyrazinamide which is effective in reducing the ATD treatment duration. There is wide variation in ATD regimen. It is usual practice to give ethambutol during intensive phase for 60 days. ethambutol may be given for the entire 9 months, if there is no untoward reaction.
