TSH values coming different

Asked for Female, 31 Years

I have Thyroid test 4 times in last 1 year. Each of the reports comes up with difeerent values. 1 says TSH 9.1 2 says 3.5 3 says 4.5 4 says 6.8 Please help me what to do as I am planning to conceive.

TSH results can vary and it depends if you are taking medications for the same. Depending on the dosage of thyroxine your TSH levels vary and accordingly the dose is adjusted. If you are planning to conceive your TSH levels should be normalised before pregnancy. So please consult your physician re. the same for further management.
