In a healthy female with regular cycles, the second half of the cycle, i e., Period between ovulation and menstruation remains the same(14days) the first half may however vary in duration from individual to individual based on your cycle length. How are you so sure that you ovulated exactly 17days before is my question? Did you monitor your LH surge by using an LH strip?
