Triple test or amniocentesis test
My wife 28 yrs pregnant of 14 weeks. Doctor has advised triple test for testing any abnormalities. However a few people are advising amniocentesis test.
Doctor has advised triple test as there is one case of a abnormality in wifes family.
Is triple test and amniocentesis tests same? Or should we talk to doctor about the amniocentesis tests?

No amniocentesis is completely different different from triple.First go for triple test if any problem then we will see.In triple marker estimation of HCG,AFB and estriol and ultrasonography.After report contact to gynaecologist .In these tests we can easily find out abnormalities.
