Trigger thumb problem in right thumb
My daughter is 2 years old and have trigger thumb problem in her right thumb. We are noticing this issue 4th time.

Normally it resolves by 2 years of age. Closely monitor and ask mum to stretch the thumb with moisturizer 5 minutes in every hour when awake within pain limits. If in another 3 months it does not resolve needs surgical release . Google congenital trigger thumb and you will know the answer

Have her assessed by an Orthopaedic Surgeon. In some children this condition setrle down with simple treatment. Rarely this needs surgical release

It does resolve on its own but if it does not in a month or so ago minor surgical day care surgery of release of the tendon sheath will help relieve the symptoms
