Treatment for inguinal hernia
My son who was 4 years old suffered with 2 side swelling in testis...left  side testicular hernia cleared by surgery held in 2022...now right side also swelling appears and should we go for same surgical procedure for right testicular hernia in this age...or any other medical treatment

The child needs to be examined first to confirm diagnosis.If the swelling reduces on lying down probably it is hernia.USG of inguino scrotal region has to be done. After confirmation of diagnosis pre anaesthetic fitness of child has to be taken and to be planned for right inguinal herniotomy ( hernia surgery).
